New Delhi: In the lower house of Parliament, this question was asked, how many people are being provided Z-plus security at this time in the country? The Ministry of Home Affairs has answered this question. The Ministry of Home Affairs informed that 40 people are being given Z plus security across the country. The Ministry of Home Affairs has also told in the Lok Sabha that this security is provided on the basis of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) report after the threat assessment by the central agencies.

According to the information given in the Lok Sabha on behalf of the Ministry of Home Affairs, in this security, on the orders of the Ministry of National Security Guard (NSG), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Jawans are providing strict security to individual VIPs on the basis of "Blue Book" of security. According to the Blue Book of Security, each VVIP is provided with the Z Plus category of security.

Tight security is guarded around them. According to information received from the sources, 58 commandos are deployed in the security of the Z Plus category. Assuming the Blue Book of Security matters, the Z plus security consists of 10 armed static guards, 6 PSOs at a time, round the clock, 24 jawans in 2 escorts round the clock, 5 watchers posted in two shifts. Along with this, an Inspector or Sub Inspector is posted as in Incharge. There are 6 freeskiing and screening personnel posted to VIP's residence and along with this round-the-clock trend, 6 drivers are present.
