Honda just released teaser photographs of the revised HR-V for 2022, which features more aggressive exterior style and appears sportier than before. With the popularity of SUVs growing in various regions, including India, Honda should be well placed to profit from this trend with the HR-V.

The new HR-V looks to follow the tried-and-true design strategy of giving a car a prominent face and a sporty overall profile. The HR-V is seen with a lower front fascia and plenty of black components all around in the teaser image given by the Japanese automaker. The vehicle's new and even bolder design comes from the octagonal grille on the front, complete with an S-shaped mesh pattern. The headlight units, which include DRLs, have also been honed.

The tail lights, as well as the bumper and a body-colored rear skid plate, look to have received a design upgrade on the redesigned SUV's back end. According to reports, the upgraded HR-V will be aimed largely at the US market, with the current model continuing in other markets.
