Honda unveiled the Prologue, which will sit above the Honda CR-V, the company's eagerly anticipated first electric vehicle. In 2024, the carmaker will introduce the Honda Prologue electric SUV. For a comfortable ride, Honda concentrated on giving the electric vehicle plenty of room for both passengers and goods.
The Prologue EV's exterior and interior style were created by Honda's Los Angeles design team, the company revealed. The Honda Prologue EV, which has a base in a "Neo-Rugged" design, has clear, straightforward features and plenty of interior space. The electric SUV has a unique front fascia and a panoramic roof. Honda has added an e-series badging and a complete brand name badge to the rear instead of the H-mark emblem. According to the automaker, the Prologue EV rides on 21-inch wheels and sports a special North Shore Pearl exterior color that was inspired by the hues of Lake Tahoe in California.

The new Honda Prologue EV's interior features an 11.3-inch audio and connectivity display in addition to a standard fully digital 11-inch driver display panel. Honda has not yet disclosed the new electric vehicle's engine specifications. The prologue does, however, have a wheelbase that is 121.8 inches, which is nearly 8 inches longer and 5 inches wider than the brand-new Honda CR-V from 2023.
The introduction of the Honda Prologue, according to American Honda vice president of automobile planning and strategy Gary Robinson, will provide the company the much-needed spotlight in the EV segment. “We are not going to wait until 2024 to attract EV buyers, because we see a natural progression for a CR-V customer to Prologue with its slightly larger size, a larger interior, and capable handling. We will support that transition now by putting smart strategies in place with the CR-V hybrid, that will enable our customers to transition to an EV," added Robinson.
