Honda has high expectations from its Amaze and has sold more than 1 lakh units of the car in 13 months since its launch in India. With this success, Honda has now launched the Splash Ace edition of its Amaze. The Ace Edition top grade VX variant is based on both diesel and petrol and is available on 3 color options - Radiant Red, Lunar Silver, and White Orchid Pearl. The Petrol variants of the Ace Edition range from Rs 7.89 lakh to Rs 8.72 lakh. The diesel variants range from Rs 8.99 lakh to Rs 9.72 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The company's sales report will clarify how much it attracts customers.

Some of the special features Honda Amaze Ace Edition features such as stylish black alloy wheels, a black trunk spoiler, ace edition branding with seat covers, front room lamps, black door Weiser, door edge garnish and an Ace Edition emblem. Honda Amaze has a strong demand for automatic variants of both petrol and diesel variants. The company says that 20% of Amaze's customers are turning to automatic variants and the figure is increasing. Amaze is a strong-selling car for the subcompact sedan company and retains a 52% stake in HCIL's total sales.

Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.2-liter SOHC i-VTEC petrol engine and a 1.5-liter DOHC i-DTEC diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 88.76bhp and 110Nm of peak torque. The 5-speed manual transmission diesel engine produces 98.63bhp and 200Nm of peak torque. However, the power and peak torque CVT diesel engine of 160Nm can be generated with a capacity of 78.9bhp.
