In the past, Bollywood rapper-singer Badshah was accused of buying fake views on social media. However, the Mumbai police have also questioned Badshah in this connection. In the past, the Mumbai police had said, "Badshah has spent Rs 72 lakh to get 7.2 crore views for his song 'Pagal' in an attempt to create a world record. Now, Punjabi rapper-singer Honey Singh has spoken in this case.

Recently, he said, "I've heard a lot of rumours about rappers who have bought fake views for their songs. I would like to say that when I started my career and I was becoming popular, people had made many allegations against me," he added, "This is a sign of progress and the artists you are talking about are also being accused. It is my congratulations to them because they are making progress and these are just allegations, so I can't say anything further on this now."

The fake follower's case was revealed when Bhoomi Trivedi, an Indian Idol participant, had filed a complaint with the police about a fake account in her name. After that, the Mumbai police investigated the case, and all the revelations were made and the Badshah's name was also included.
