Indore: There has been a piece of big news about the much-talked-about honey trap case. In fact, Barkha Bhatnagar, a woman accused in jail under the case, has been granted bail by the court. Orders in this regard have been issued last Thursday. As per the information received in the case, the woman has received bail on a bond of 50,000 rupees. Three other women Shweta Vijay Jain, Shweta Swapnil Jain, and Monika Yadav, accused in the honey trap case, have been granted bail two days ago.

Talking about Barkha, a bail application was moved by her in the sessions court. During the same hearing, the SIT counsel opposed Barkha's bail and argued that "a CD was recovered from the laptop of the accused which is important in the case.'' At the same time, the counsel for the accused told the court that "the high court has granted bail to other accused in the case, the case has been stayed in trial by the high court. The FSL inquiry report of laptops, mobiles, etc. seized from the same accused has also not been submitted to the counsel of the accused.''

After all this, the court reportedly passed the order after 7 pm and Barkha could not be released. Barkha will be released from the district jail today i.e. Let me tell all of you that Harbhajan Singh, the then city engineer of Indore Municipal Corporation, had lodged a complaint with Palasia police station in Indore in September 2019. He had said in his complaint that "some women are blackmailing him and asking him for Three crore rupees. Police registered a case in the case and arrested three women. The women reportedly came to Indore from Bhopal to collect money.''
