This 33-year-old person got corona infection again after four and a half months of recovering from it. He was discharged from the hospital after testing negative in the corona test in April. But on August 15, when he returned to Hong Kong from Spain via Britain, the screening at the airport showed that he had become infected again. Researchers at the University of Hong Kong wrote in their research that the person looked fine before he tested positive again. This research has been published in the international medical journal 'Clinical Infectious Diseases'.

The lead author of the research, Kwok-Yung Yuen and his colleagues stated that "Our results showed that SARS-CoV-2 can persist in humans". The researchers said, "Even if patients have developed immunity against infection, they can spread the coronavirus to others. While some patients remain infected with the virus for several weeks even after they show no symptoms. Researchers have not yet understood whether the chronic infection is recurring or not? The researchers said, "This is the first case in the world where a person who tested positive for coronavirus after recovering from it four and a half months ago".
