America fears, 'Mission Moon' may cause war with China

The rivalry between the US and China is now visible not only about trade or land but also in space. America's defence department is keeping an eye on the ongoing competition between the countries regarding the moon mission. The Army of the country feels that it also has a role in protecting the officers associated with the moon mission of America.

The defence department is concerned that if China reaches the moon before the US, and if this happens, then they (China) will make rules about space. In such a situation, the US fears that a war with China could be started.

Brigadier Steven, director of the Space Portfolio at the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), believes that rules are made by example. What someone does in the country space can lead to international law in future. He said, "We don't want our rivals to go there and make such rules". Brigadier Steven says that "The first country to develop transport infrastructure and logistics capability for GEO (Geostationary Equatorial Orbit) and Seaslunar (between moon and earth) space will gain control over the resources of the Sisalunar space and the moon". Brent Sherwood, vice-president of the Advanced Program at AW Origins, believes that the Sisalunar space development can happen with the government and industry coming together. However, he says that the industry will always expect business from the government.
