Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has introduced its new motorcycle Hornet 2.0 in the country. The price of which has been fixed at Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has already started booking Hornet 2.0. The delivery of which will be started on 1 September. The new Honda Hornet 2.0 has been introduced in four colours Pearl Ignis Black, Mat Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic and Matte Axis Gray Metallic.
Hornet 2.0 is the most powerful and attractive motorcycle of its segment which has been prepared on a completely new platform. Talking about the design, the Hornet 2.0 gives a sporty look to the sharp body cuts and the chunky golden USD fork motorcycle. Along with this, the company has given an all-LED set up in front of this bike. Which includes headlamps, tail lamps as well as indicators. The bike gets a blue-backlit digital console which shows information like odometer, trip meter, gear position-indicator, a clock and fuel gauge.
To give power to Hornet 2.0, a 184cc HET PGM-FI single-cylinder air-cooled engine has been given which can generate power of 17.27PS and torque of 16.1Nm. Let me tell you, the Hornet has less power than other competitors in the market, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS 200. This engine has been equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. Which is capable of crossing 200 meters in 11.25 seconds. The new Honda Hornet 2.0 features Golden USD front forks (first in the 200cc segment), digital instrument console with negative liquid crystal meter, 276mm and 220mm petal disc brakes, single-channel ABS, engine kill switch, winder tubeless tires, Hazard switches are the main features of this motorcycle.
