India can get the responsibility of hosting the Hockey World Cup to be played in the year 2023. India, which has hosted three successful World Cups, has bid for it. Three countries including India have bid to host the 2023 World Cup. The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has provided information about this on Thursday.
According to media reports, India has hosted three World Cups so far. The World Cup to be held in 2023 will be from 13 to 29 January. Belgium and Malaysia, along with India, are the two countries that have bid to host, but both of them want to host the tournament from July 1 to July 17, 2022, while five countries have bid for the Women's World Cup. This includes Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Malaysia and New Zealand. The Indian team, which has won the Olympic Gold Medal eight times, has been able to win the World Cup title only once.
If you do not know, then tell me that for the first time in 1982, the Hockey World Cup was held in India. After this, in the year 2010 and then after this, the last World Cup of 2018 was also held in India.
