Howdy Modi: Houston ready to welcome PM Modi, 50 thousand tickets sold so far

Houston: Preparations for the community function 'Howdy Modi' organized in Houston, USA in honor of Indian PM Narendra Modi, are almost complete. So far, 50 thousand tickets have been sold for the ceremony. PM Modi will address people of Indian origin in this ceremony lasting about three hours. More than 50,000 tickets have been sold for the event organized on Sunday by Texas India Forum (TIF), a non-profit organization at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas's largest city.

The 'Howdy Modi' ceremony has been organized in collaboration with more than 1,000 volunteers and more than 650 organizations based in Texas.

According to the website, at the 71,995-seater NRG Football Stadium, the event will start at 8.45 am Sunday and will end at 12.30 pm. The importance of this event can be understood from the fact that US President Donald Trump himself will be present at the reception to welcome PM Modi.
