More than 5,000 volunteers of the institution "Danpatra" set a record on the occasion of Diwali in Indore, which has been number one in the country for four consecutive terms in cleanliness. The volunteers of the team helped about 2.5 lakh needy families in a single day by delivering free clothes, toys, books, rations and other items. This is a record across the country. This is the first time such an attempt has been made by an institution, "Danpatra" has been named in the exclusive world record by the institution to help about 2.5 lakh needy families in a single day, "Danpatra" members say that many families are still facing economic crisis due to corona epidemic to bring smiles on the faces of such families and their dark on Diwali In order to illuminate the world, the mission was 2,51,000 by the institution "Danpatra" and the success of this mission has made Diwali worthwhile for many families today. We are happy that we can do something for the society at this level by joining this noble cause, the event was placed by the team in different areas outside Indore and Indore. Millions of unfulfilled dreams were fulfilled by making old items usable on Diwali:

The team said that on Diwali, a large number of goods are released from our homes which are not of use to us and which we throw away as old and useless. Such items were collected by the "Danpatra" team through the "Danpatra" app and their wishes were fulfilled by filtering and recycling them and giving them to needy families.

What is "Danpatra" How did it start?

"Danpatra" is an online free platform, with the help of which unused items like clothes, toys, books, shoes, utensils, electronic items, furniture and other items are collected and made usable and delivered to needy families. It was started on March 10, 2018, due to which help has been provided to more than 9 lakh needy families by doing service work and more than 70 thousand Indore residents have joined this platform, more than 5 thousand volunteers are connected to this platform. Those who contribute by giving their time, through "Danpatra" any person can donate goods sitting at home on just a phone call or by requesting in "Danpatra" app "Danpatra" On receiving the request by the team members, the goods are collected by going home and then filtered and sent to the needy families, along with their photos, videos are uploaded on the social media pages of the "donor" so that whoever got the goods. He has donated so that he can see to which needy family the goods given by him have reached.
