New Delhi: After the new and rapidly spreading Omicron variant of the coronavirus that is spreading all over the world, another new corona variant has now emerged. The name of this new variant is IHU. IHU comes at a time when the omicron strain is already wreaking havoc in the world. Scientists and doctors around the world are worried about how different and how dangerous the variant is from Omicron, IHU which has emerged even before the beginning of the New Year.

The new corona IHU variant found in France has once again created a stir all over the world. It is important to mention here that Omicron is still a new variant of corona for the world. Scientists from all over the world are still researching the behaviour, nature and ability of infection symbiosis of Omicron. The Omicron variant has 32 mutations, which makes it more contagious and deadly than the previous variant. Even how effective the corona vaccine is against it cannot be confirmed yet.

But, now, this new variant is challenging all the progress made in understanding the Coronavirus. Scientists say the new strain B.1.640.2 variant has 46 mutations, making it even more resistant to the vaccine.
