New Delhi: Ahead of Air Force Day on October 8, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari on Tuesday addressed the annual press conference and expressed his views on a range of issues. During this time, he answered on topics ranging from operations in Ladakh to the fighter fleet of the Air Force and the theatre command.
He said that we have increased the radar and air defence network. We took non-escalator steps at the right time. He also said that the recent developments at the international level demonstrate the need for a strong army to meet any challenge. He said that we are monitoring the situation on the LAC. Air Chief Marshal Chaudhary said that the Indian Air Force is fully prepared to deal with all kinds of security challenges. At the same time, when he was asked about the incident of the BrahMos missile landing in Pakistan, he said that it would not be appropriate to tell the investigation report here. The lapses in the SOP have been discussed at the service level to tie up. Along with this, it has been asked to ensure that such an incident does not happen in the future.
