The government has said that around 1.59 lakh people have been recruited for government jobs during this period. The Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh has given a written reply and gave this information in detail. He has also informed in his reply that it is not possible to change the existing provisions regarding the number of attempts and age limit in the context of civil services examinations.
In fact, Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh, in response to a question in Parliament, briefed about the vacant posts and sanctioned posts in various departments of the Central Government. During this time, he said that about 1.59 lakh people have been recruited for government jobs during the Corona pandemic. Out of these, he also mentioned how many recruitments have been made in which department.
According to a reply in the Upper House, a total of 1,59,615 people were recruited during this period. Out of these, 8,913 people have been recruited by UPSC, 97,914 by SSC and 52,788 by IBPS. These are the figures of the time when the country was in the grip of the Corona epidemic. That is, these figures have been presented during the period 2020-22.
