In a profound display of devotion, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani embarked on a spiritual journey with his family, offering prayers at various revered sites across India.
Badrinath Dham, Uttarakhand: On a serene Thursday, Mukesh Ambani, along with his family, made a sacred pilgrimage to the hallowed Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand. Welcoming them with open arms were the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, accompanied by former BKTC CEO BD Singh.
Notably, this visit marked a poignant return for Ambani, who had graced Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham with his presence last year. In a testament to his unwavering faith, he generously donated Rs. 5 crore to the Badri-Kedar Temple Committee (BKTC).
This spiritual odyssey followed Ambani's recent triumph in the financial arena, as he ascended to the top of Forbes' 100 India's Richest List 2023 and the prestigious Hurun Rich List, relegating Gautam Adani to the second position.
Guruvayur Temple, Kerala: Ambani's spiritual quest also led him to the renowned Guruvayur temple in Kerala, where he offered his prayers and made a substantial donation of Rs. 1.51 crore to the temple's 'annadanam' fund on September 18 last year. Joining him in this sacred journey was the fiancée of his youngest son.
Lalbaugcha Raja, Mumbai: On September 8, Mukesh Ambani paid a visit to Mumbai's iconic Lalbaugcha Raja during the Ganeshotsav festival. Accompanied by his son, Anant Ambani, the pilgrimage was marked by a deep sense of reverence and devotion.
Shrinathji Temple, Nathdwara, Rajasthan: September 12 witnessed India's wealthiest individual visiting the Shrinathji temple in the charming town of Nathdwara, located in Rajasthan's Rajsamand district. This visit served as yet another demonstration of Ambani's unwavering faith.
Tirumala Temple, Andhra Pradesh: On September 15 last year, Mukesh Ambani undertook a spiritually enriching journey to the Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh. During this visit, he made a generous donation of Rs. 1.5 crore and presented a proposal to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD).
