SBI PO Selection Process:


SBI PO selection process will be in 3 phases. They are listed below in order.
1) Step 1: Online Preliminary Examination - 100 Marks.
2) Step 2: Online Main Examination - 250 Marks (Including Descriptive Examination)
3) Step 3: Group Practice and Interview - 50 marks

SBI PO Preliminary Exam Pattern:

There are total 3 sections in the preliminary examination. For each section, a time period of 20 minutes is allocated. So it is not possible for you to exchange between the segments. There is no section related cut off in this exam. Candidates should pass the overall cut off to qualify for the main examination. For each wrong answer you will lose 0.25 marks as penalty. SBI PO Main Exam Pattern:

SBI PO Main Exam has 4 sections. According to these 4 sections, a descriptive examination will be conducted. Section-wise scheduling has also been applied for this exam. Negative marks for each wrong answer is 1/4th of the fixed marks for that question. There is no section-related cut-off. Candidates who have passed the overall cut-off are called for group practice and the final round of interviews. Descriptive examination will occur in the typing system. In this exam, you have to write a letter and type an essay within the given time limit.
