In this central Varanasi, PM Narendra Modi has called an important meeting to review the situation in Corona. According to the PMO, 'Today at 11 PM PM Narendra Modi is going to preside over a meeting to review the conditions of covid in Varanasi. This meeting can include top officials, local administration, and doctors, who are fighting the war against covid in Varanasi.
Here, in UP, covid is dominating day by day. On Saturday too, there has been a record increase in covid Infections. A total of 27357 new corona cases have been reported in the state during the last twenty-four hours and 120 people have lost their lives. 7831 people were recovered and discharged. The number of active corona cases in the state now stands at 170059. In the last 24 hours in the capital Lucknow, 5913 new cases of covid infection were found while 2176 people were discharged properly.
Due to the covid infection, the UP government has also announced a weekly covid curfew. A 35-hour covid curfew has been imposed in UP from 8 pm on Saturday evening to 7 am on Monday. It has been learned that UP DGP SC Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Sehgal, and DM Abhishek Prakash covid have become positive in the wake of the rising corona case in Lucknow. The three officers have isolated themselves at home. Mining Director Roshan Jacob became the acting DM of Lucknow.
At 11 AM, Prime Minister @narendramodi will be chairing a meeting to review the COVID-19 situation in Varanasi.
