One of the most loved actors of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan Landed into controversy because of a controversial ad. There has been a ruckus over the linking of online food delivery company Zomato's ad with Mahakal. This ad features Hroithik Roshan. In this Hrithik says thali ka man kiya, Ujjain me he to Mahakal se manga liya. This comment doesn’t went with a section of people and they started criticizing him.
On this the priest of Mahakal temple said, the company should think before issuing such ads. Hindu society is tolerant, it is never violent. If there was another society, such a company would have been set on fire. The company should not play with our sentiments like this. The company has made this misleading publicity.
The priest said, in the Mahakal temple food area, food is given to the devotees in a plate, but there is no provision to deliver the food from the plate. The company which is also delivering non-veg food, it should immediately stop the misleading advertisement of thali in the name of Mahakal. The company has hurt the sentiments of Hindus. We strongly oppose this. If the company does not apologize then we will go to court.
District Magistrate and Chairman of Mahakal Temple Committee called the advertisement as factless and misleading. He said, in the Mahakal temple, offerings can be taken only in the food area. The plate is not sent anywhere from here. Will take action to stop misleading advertisements. Thousands of devotees take food offerings every day in the food area of Mahakaleshwar temple. The food arrangement is provided free of cost by the temple committee. Devotees can take food offerings from 11 am to 2 am and from 5 pm to 8 pm sitting in the grain area.
