Raipur: Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel is going to start a campaign named 'Hamar Beti- Hamar Mann' with the aim of empowering and securing the daughters of the state. The 'Hamar Beti-Hummer Maan' scheme will be started for the safety of daughters, to protect their honour and to facilitate them. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has shared this news by tweeting. He said that 'Hamar Beti - Hamar Maan' is not only a revolutionary campaign but a step which will make our daughters self-sufficient. Together we will make this campaign a success and will also fulfill our social responsibility.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that daughters are our honour and respect. Daughters are the foundation of the bright future of the state. The society in which the daughters are safe and are getting empowered, that society progresses continuously. Under the 'Hamar Beti-Hummer Man' campaign, women officers and employees of the state police go to schools and colleges in all the districts of the state to give their legal rights, good touch, bad touch, molestation, sexual abuse, cybercrime, and social media crime. Will guide and communicate with them on things like protection and rights.
Chief Minister Baghel said that under the campaign, special women patrolling of police would be done in girls' schools, colleges and prominent places where women and girls were present. A phone number will also be issued for the 'Hamar Beti Hamar Maan' helpline, on which the daughters will be able to register their complaints, their problems, and any misbehaviour and crime they are facing. The complaint will be processed on priority.
