Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 have been launched in the Indian market in the month of February. The company had initially priced it at Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Three months later, the company has increased the prices of these motorcycles by Rs 4,736 across the country. Its new ex-showroom price in Delhi is now Rs 184,768 and they are effective from 15 May 2020. Baja Auto has resumed operations at its dealerships across the country and these motorcycles are now available for sale everywhere. 

Svartpilen 250 is called Black Arrow in Swedish and the company has given it an upright stance and tires with a modern Neo-Retro Scrambler. The Vitpilen 250, on the other hand, called the White Arrow in Swedish, has a sporty stance and lowered handlebars and is a cafe racer motorcycle. Talking about the features, both the motorcycles have Bosch dual-channel ABS and all LED lighting.

Talking about power and specifications, both motorcycles get a 250 cc fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke DOHC engine with 30 bhp power at 9,000rpm and 24 Nm torque at 7,500rpm. Generates. The engine comes with a slipper clutch assist with a 6-speed gearbox. It has the same setup as the KTM 250 Duke. The KTM 250 has a hydro-formed steel handlebar. Clip-on handlebars are provided in the Vitpilen.
