Huzurabad: More than 200 unemployed youth will file nomination in Huzurabad. He says that the government is only announcing that it will fill up 50,000 vacancies but no action has been taken in that direction. Because of this unemployed youth are going to register their protest, file nomination. He believes that the government had failed to fill the vacant posts in various departments.
Apart from this, other sections are also planning to register their protest by filing nominations. Along with them the field assistants from the National Employment Guarantee Act have also decided to follow the unemployed youth. During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, 500 turmeric farmers from Nizamabad had filed their nominations demanding a turmeric board in the district.
They collectively garnered around one lakh votes in the constituency, which ultimately resulted in the defeat of the incumbent member Kalvakuntala Kavitha. Earlier, Polpalli SEZ affected farmers had also filed hundreds of nominations in Mahbubnagar. TRS leaders are worried that a large number of nominations may get affected as the party faced a similar experience in Nizamabad earlier. It will be interesting to see how TRS tackles this situation as there are still five more days to file nominations.
