Hyderabad: A man in Hyderabad divorced his wife due to crooked teeth. However, the police have arrested the person who divorced. The victim woman, Rukhsana Begum, told the media that she was married to Mustafa on 27 June 2019. The woman said that at the time of marriage her husband demanded many things and our family fulfilled their demand.

After the marriage, her husband and in-laws again started harassing her for bringing more gold and money from her home. Mustafa also took a new bike from his brother. The victim told that, 'The in-laws were torturing me every day. Eventually my husband said that he did not like me because of my crooked teeth and asked me to separate. I asked Mustafa that he had seen me even before Nikah.'

She told that 'Later the in-laws locked me in my house for 10 to 15 days and when I fell ill, they reported the matter to my parents and brought me back to their parents' house. I complained about the matter to the local police. After this, my husband and in-laws made a compromise and said that they will take me back to the in-laws". After this, the woman's husband gave Rukhsana three divorces over the phone, which Rukhsana has complained to the police.
