HYDERABAD: The national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, JP Nadda, is expected to arrive in Hyderabad this weekend ahead of the BJP National Executive meeting.
Delegates have started arriving in Hyderabad in preparation for the BJP National Executive meeting, which will take place at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre on July 2-4.
Party sources said that the state unit has organised a massive roadshow to greet Nadda, and that preparations are being made for the roadshow, which would start at Shamshabad, around one kilometre from the Hyderabad International Airport.
On July 2, meetings of the national general secretaries and office bearers will be held, followed by the national executive meeting. On July 3, a public assembly will be held at the Parade Ground with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to partake.
Before attending the national executive, the BJP has instructed its members to contact all 119 of Telangana's constituencies as part of a Sampark Abhiyan. The BJP's initiative comes as Telangana prepares for Assembly elections in 2023 and as the party perceives a great opportunity to topple the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government.
