After, filmmaker Rohit Shetty announced the remake of the 1989 film “Ram-Lakhan”.Anil Kapoor The ,original Lakhan of B-town said “he should be paired with Ranveer Singh”

While, the name of Varun Dhawan,Sidharth Malhotra,Hrithik Roshan and Arjun Kapoor have been doing rounda for the lead role in the film,But Shahid Kapoor is being reflected as the final one.

When asked whom does he want to see with Ranveer in the remake Anil said , "There is a lot to say the kind of impact Ram-Lakhan has made and to be really honest with you, I think I am still the best and I am the best choice for the remake."

Anil Kapoor was currently present in Delhi to proclaim the 17th edition of IIFA Awards beside with actor Farhan Akhtar.
