Ranbir Kapoor's fans always compare him with Raj Kapoor. Ranbir says that he always has his own reasons for choosing the films he does. He is one of the top actors in the Bollywood industry today. Ranbir even tried his hand at production and proven, once again that he has a strong sense of what works and what doesn’t.

Ranbir when asked about the comparison with Raj Kapoor and about changing the banner of RK films. Ranbir said that “RK Films is RK Films because of Raj Kapoor. If I want to make films, I will make them in my own style. That’s why I made Jagga Jassos in partnership with Anurag Basu, and not under the RK Studios banner,” Ranbir says, adding, “I don’t want to spoil it in any way. I don’t want to touch the legacy that Raj Kapoor has left behind, because that’s a huge risk for me. I don’t have the researching abilities and talent that Raj Kapoor had.”
