New Delhi: Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar recently returned home after visiting the African country Mozambique. Jaishankar has shared a podcast on his Twitter handle, in which he says that he got a tremendous welcome in Mozambique. The External Affairs Minister also recalled the experience he had enjoyed travelling in an Indian-made train in Mozambique. The video of Jaishankar's train journey in Mozambique was also shared on social media.
Jaishankar said that I recently visited Mozambique, where I was warmly welcomed. I also met President Nyusi. I co-led a joint commission with Mozambican Foreign Minister Veronica Mocamo. Along with this, I also had a meeting with the Transport Minister, the Health Minister, and the Speaker of the National Assembly.
The External Affairs Minister said that he also visited a pharmaceutical company owned by an Indian-origin person in Mozambique. Along with this, we addressed the community of Indian origin there. S. Jaishankar also visited the Shiva temple at Moputo and the century-old Salamanca temple. S. Jaishankar was on a visit to Uganda and Mozambique from April 10 to April 15. Jaishankar had also met people of Indian origin in Uganda.
