Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who has enthralled fans with his movies and compositions, has expressed his thoughts on curating the music for his next film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi,' starring Alia Bhatt.

According to Bhansali, "Music has always been a huge part of my life. I was lucky enough to grow up in a period when great artists such as Lataji, Bagum Akhtar, Jagjit Singh, and Rafi Saab influenced my musical knowledge." "It was not just the singers who had a huge influence on my passion for music, but the great music directors of Hindi film from the 1950s and 1960s who have been my greatest inspiration," he said.

Bhansali noted that as a composer, he has been fortunate to work with musicians such as Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh, and Neeti Mohan, who have elevated the music to new heights.

"I'm thrilled to welcome two new vocalists, Janhvi Shrimankar (Dholida) and Archana Gore, with 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' (Jhume Re Gori, Shiqayat). Thank you to the arrangers Shail Hada (Dholida, Jab Saiyan, Jhume Re Gori, Shiqayat), Jacky Vanjari (Meri Jaan), and Raja Pandit (Muskurahat) as well as the lyricists A.M Turaz and Kumar Ji." Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios) produced the picture, which is due to hit theatres on February 25.
