Tollywood Diva Tamannaah Bhatia will star in filmmaker Madhur Bahndarkar's next film 'Babli Bouncer,' a coming-of-age fictional narrative of a female bouncer set in the real-life 'bouncer town' of Asola Fatepur in North India. "As soon as I read Babli Bouncer, I fell in love with the character because it is one of the most interesting and entertaining characters with depth that I have come across," actor Tamannaah remarked of kicking off the filming.

She said, " "Madhur Sir has a knack for creating memorable female protagonists, and Babli is no exception. For the first time, a film will tell the narrative of a female bouncer, and I'm delighted to get the chance to play her. I'm very excited to explore this new universe."

Bhandarkar, who is known for successes like 'Fashion' and 'Corporate,' revealed: "When you get the chance to explore a never-before-told storey as a filmmaker, there's a lot to be excited about and look forward to. I want to portray the narrative of a female bouncer in a light, comic tone that makes an impact."

He revealed that, with the filming of 'Babli Bouncer' about to begin today, he is as excited as ever to tell this storey from the viewpoint of female bouncers.

The film also includes Saurabh Shukla, Abhishek Bajaj, and Sahil Vaid in crucial parts in the film, which investigates the unseen world of bouncers.

Babli Bouncer, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and starring Tamannaah Bhatia, is produced by Fox Star Studios and Junglee Pictures. Amit Joshi, Aradhana Debnath, and Madhur Bhandarkar created the concept, scenario, and screenplay. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu by the end of this year.
