'I have killed my friend,' man confesses to crime after reaching police station

Muzaffarpur: In Muzaffarpur, Bihar, a drug addict killed his friend and after reaching the police station, he told the police that "I have murdered my friend, arrest me". On hearing this, everyone's senses were blown away and the police immediately took him into custody and started interrogating him. 

The killer told the police that he killed his friend Roshan, a resident of Rambagh, by stabbing him. Town police station informed Mithanpura police station. Mithanpura SHO Shrikant Prasad took the young man in his possession and set out to find the dead body. Police said that the killer was mentally ill. He was identified as Shamshad alias Chhotu, son of Mohammad Israel, resident of Banaras Bank Chowk Imamganj under Nagar police station area. His family members told the police that his mental condition was not good due to excessive intoxication.  

The young man has not given Rs 1200, due to which his friend was beaten up. Because of this, he attacked him with a knife and he died. Mithanpura SHO Shrikant Prasad said that nothing has been found so far, no one has been found injured and according to him, no dead body has been found. Although another case is registered against him in the police station, he will be kept in custody for the time being.
