Mumbai: Amidst the political crisis in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena MLA Nitin Deshmukh has said that he is with CM Uddhav Thackeray. MLA Nitin Deshmukh has claimed that he was "abducted" and taken to Surat in Gujarat. from where they fled. Earlier, it was being said that he is one of the rebel leaders of the Shiv Sena. However, now Nitin Deshmukh has made it clear that he is with Uddhav Thackeray.

Nitin Deshmukh said, "I had run away and was standing on the road at around 3 am. I was trying to ask for a lift when more than 100 policemen came and took me to the hospital. He pretended that I had heart disease and tried to do some process with my body. But I don't have any such disease. Deshmukh's wife had lodged a missing complaint with the local police station yesterday. He said he was in danger to his life.

Amidst the ongoing political turmoil in Maharashtra, a meeting of mlAs has been convened at Uddhav Thackeray's residence at 5 pm. Congress leader Kamal Nath said he had spoken to Uddhav Thackeray over the phone. They are confident. Those who have gone will come back. There is no such thing as dissolving the Assembly right now.
