Shimla: After losing the Rajya Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh, Congress candidate Abhishek Manu Singhvi discussed with the media in the evening. After accepting his defeat and congratulating BJP candidate Harsh Mahajan, Singhvi called it a lesson for himself. Along with this, he talked about returning again in a poetic manner. Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that thanks to the CM and all the MLAs. Subsequently, he also took a dig at the MLAs who switched sides. Singhvi recited a poetry, in which he said, 'I will come back, with fragrance in the branches, I am full of anger, let the weather change a bit'.

Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that thanks also to those 9 MLAs who were with us till last night. Who ate food with us, had refreshments with us and took photos. Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that not only this, 3 of these MLAs had gone to have breakfast with us this morning. The Congress candidate said that we have learned a big lesson from this defeat. Along with this, he advised the MLAs who changed sides to look inside their own pockets once.

Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that whatever happened did not happen suddenly. This has been done with full preparation. He said that its message is that we will shamelessly do what is not in the law. He said that if this is the new India then the old India would be the same and made history even after losing. Despite doing so much, Bharatiya Janata Party could only garner 34 votes. There was not a single second preference vote, this is history. He further said that whatever has happened has happened, now we should think about the future.
