Dehradun: In the case of hate speech against Muslims during Haridwar Dharma Sansad, criminal Jitendra Tyagi has posted a video. He says that I follow the order of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court had on Monday directed Jitendra Narayan Tyagi to surrender by September 2. Tyagi, who was known as Waseem Rizvi before adopting Sanatan Dharma, is currently out on bail on health grounds. On May 17, the Supreme Court granted three months' bail to Tyagi on health grounds. For this, the condition was that he would not give hate speech because of this and would not make any statement to electronic or digital media.
Nadeem Ali filed a case in Haridwar Kotwali on January 2, 2022, that Dharma Sansad was organized in Haridwar from December 17 to 19. In this, provocative speeches were made and objectionable words were used. Jitendra Narayan Tyagi, Yeti Narasimhanand and others later made a video of it and also made it viral. Due to this provocative speech, there was an atmosphere of unrest in the district. On their complaint, under section 153, 295 of the IPC, the police filed a complaint against Narsinghanand Giri, Sagar Sindhu Maharaj, Dharmadas Maharaj, Parmanand Maharaj, Sadhvi Annapurna, Swami Anand Swaroop, Ashwini Upadhyay, Suresh Chavan, Swami Prabodhanand Giri for making inflammatory speeches.
