Patna: Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has said that he will welcome Chief Minister Nitish Kumar if he talks about changing power in the interest of the state. On Friday, Manjhi made this statement due to a discussion with journalists in Gaya. He was reacting to Prashant Kishor's claim that Nitish Kumar was in touch with the BJP again and could switch sides.  

Manjhi said that there are no two and two four in politics. In the situation that is going on in politics right now, if Nitish Kumar has any problem, then he can talk here and there. If you can talk about changing power, I will welcome it. Citing an example, Manjhi said Mahamaya Babu had also switched sides. Mahamaya Babu had said on changing sides that if I have to change sides even a hundred times in the public interest, I will change it. Manjhi said that if the state benefits from Nitish Kumar's switch of sides in the public interest, then he will welcome it. He, however, said Nitish Kumar has not said such a thing.  

On Wednesday, poll strategist Prashant Kishor claimed that CM Nitish Kumar has kept a path open for dialogue with the BJP through JD(U) MP and Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh. Kishor said Nitish Kumar is in touch with the BJP and if the situation arises, he may tie up with that party again.
