Harsh Rajput, who was last seen in the show Kuch Toh Hai, is all set to essay the main role in another fictional supernatural fantasy show Khoobsurat Chalava Hai... Maut Ka Bulava Hai Aa Rahi Hai Pishachini. The actor is paired opposite Nyra Banerjee, who essays Pischachini in the show. He said, "Nyra and I are gym friends. This is our first show with each other. We stay in the same area and work out together in the gym."

Talking about health and fitness, Harsh had to put on seven pounds for his character. He said, "This character needed me to gain muscle mass, so I would work out for three hours in the gym and would eat around 1 kg rice every day. But, putting on muscle mass weight does not mean you eat samosas, mithai and just about anything. It is necessary to eat right even when you want to gain some weight. It was a lot more about gaining muscle and looking a bit bigger for the part in the show."

Harsh has before been part of fictional fantasy shows but he isn't scared about getting typecast in the genre. "The genre could be same but my characters are diverse. I am essaying a normal family guy in Pishachini while I was essaying a fantasy role in Nazar. So this one is quite different from the previous shows. The story has been different. I like doing adventurous shows like Pischachini and Janbaz Sindbad because shooting for a fictional fantasy show is very unusual from a normal show, where you are just standing and saying dialogues. Here, you are performing heavy duty tasks and normally a scene gets finished in one take in a fiction show but due to graphics in fantasy shows, the actor needs 2-3 takes," he says.
