The captain of the Indian women's cricket team Mithali Raj is an inspiration for all the girls who want to chase and fulfill their dreams. The Captain has a number of titles under her name, and it does not look like she is going to stop any soon. The cricketer has taken the women's cricket team to where it is today and deserves the appreciation and respect that she has gained now.

Viacom 18 had approached the cricketer with the idea of her biopic. Mithali gave it a green signal and the casting of the biopic is already in process. When asked about who does she want to play her part in the biopic, Mithali told Mid-day, "I think Priyanka Chopra will be a great choice (to play me in the biopic). Our personalities match a lot." She added that she is happy to leave the final decision in the hands of the makers. "I am not a movie buff, so I'd love the experts to do their job."

Indian captain Mithali is actively helping the makers to acquire details about her life. She said, "I have helped the team with the research, which has now been completed. The film is currently in the scripting stage. Once that's done, I will have a look at it to see if there is anything I would want to add."

According to sources, the film can go on floors next year in September. It will be interesting watching Priyanka Chopra portraying the character of Indian women cricket team Captain Mithali Raj.
