 Kedarnath.: A large IAF helicopter today crashed during rescue operations.Four people including the pilot suffered minor injuries after Indian Air Force's MI-17 helicopter caught fire following the collision with an iron girder while landing at the helipad near Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand. The helicopter is not of the Army, as ANI reported.

Let us tell you that MI 17 helicopter of Air Force was carrying luggage for the reconstruction work in Kedarnath. During this, the helicopter crashed following landing in Kedarnath. Pilots and co-pilots are being declared safe in this collision.The helicopter was going to Kedarnath from Gupta Koshi as Aaj Tak reported.It is being told that the helicopter has been badly damaged.

On 25 Jan 2018, a large IAF helicopter had crashed during rescue operations near Gaurikund in rain-ravaged Uttarakhand, killing eight persons onboard, including five crew members.

One Mi-17 V5 chopper was on a rescue mission from Gauchar to Guptkashi and Kedarnath while returning from Kedarnath crashed north of Gaurikund.

In this collision eight persons onboard, including five crew members, suffered fatal injuries in the mishap.
