IAS rapes woman on pretext of work, administration came into action after allegations

A high profile case has come up in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. In which Janak Pathak, a former collector of IAS and Janjgir-Champa, has been accused of raping a woman by pretending to get an NGO job. The victim woman has presented photographs as well as evidence recording. As soon as the woman's complaint is received, there is a stir in the administrative department of the state. The police have registered a case.

The woman has alleged that she had taken the problem to the collector Janak Pathak. Since then he was identified and started talking. Meanwhile, Collector Pathak gave the woman a chance to get the job of NGO. The woman alleges that on May 15, the collector made a physical connection with her in the rest room of his chamber. The woman also alleges that since then, the collector has made physical relations with her many times. Every time he kept pretending that soon she would get work in NGO, but even after a month and a half, the woman did not get work. After this act of the Collector, the woman reached the state government through top officials complaining about the case. The woman has also presented messages, conversation recordings and pornographic photographs as evidence. After this, the government has come into action.

Rules came out to discharge family

Apart from the complaint of the case, Janjgir-Champa Collector Yashwant Kumar has directed SP Pasrl Mathur to investigate the matter. SP Mathur, Additional SP Madhulika Singh has started investigation in the case. Evidence was tested by taking the woman's statement. The police have registered a crime under sections 376, 509B and 506 against IAS Janak Pathak in the case. On these charges, an attempt was made to contact IAS Janak Pathak to know him. However, he did not receive the phone first and then his phone found switch off.
