New Delhi: Smriti Mandhana, the explosive opener of the Indian women's cricket team has suffered a huge loss in the recent ODI rankings of the ICC. She has lost her top ranking. In the ICC ODI rankings, New Zealand's Amy Sutherweight has taken away Mandhana's number one batting rankings. The Indian opener did not play in the ODI series against South Africa due to injury. The women's ODI batting rankings were released by the ICC on Wednesday.

In this ranking, Indian opener Samriti Mandhana, who occupies the first place, has slipped one place to the second position. New Zealand batsman Amy Sadarwet achieved the number one ranking, beating Mandhana by 4 rating points. Mandhana, the vice-captain of the ODI team, was injured before the ODI series played against South Africa. Due to injury, she could not play in all three matches. Mandhani suffered the loss of not playing in the series.

In the latest ODI rankings released by the ICC, New Zealand's Emmy secured 759 points, while Mandhana is in second place with 755 points. Alyssa Healy of Australia is third with 738 points. Indian ODI captain Mithali Raj has lost the points but remains in the top 10. Harmanpreet Kaur is 17th in the ODI rankings while Deepti Sharma is at 18th position.
