Former West Indies all-rounder Marlon Samuels has been charged by the ICC for violating four rules of the Anti-Corruption Code. The global cricket body has made these allegations on behalf of the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB), the organizer of the T10 tournament. Samuels in particular has 14 days (from 21 September) to respond to the allegations.

Samuels is charged with the violation of these four rules: Samuels is guilty of a violation of Article 2.4.2, which includes not giving information to the Anti Corruption Officer of benefits such as gifts, money, facilities, etc., in return for any such act. In addition, he has also been found guilty of a breach of Article 2.4.3, which includes not reporting any such hosting, the value of which is US$750 or more. At the same time, he has also been guilty of a violation of Articles 2.4.6 and 2.4.7.

Samuels has been involved in many controversies: Not only this, before this, Samuels's name has also come in many controversies. In 2008, he was banned by the ICC after being accused of 'getting money' and 'maligning the game of cricket.' Where he was banned from bowling for a year in 2015 after his action was found to be illegal. Apart from this, he has been involved in many controversies with the opposition players on the field.
