New Delhi: ICMR and AIIMS together have issued guidelines for rapid antigen test. The testing kit of a South Korean company has been found to be correct, whose plant is located in Manesar Gurgaon. Samples will be taken from the nose through this rapid testing kit. Its results will come within 30 minutes. This South Korean company saw the correct positive rate of kit from 50 to 84%. AIIMS and ICMR have checked this kit on 2 sites. The rapid test has been approved.

According to the guideline: -

In Containment Zone and Hotspot Areas: -
-Testing through this test kit
- Every person with fever symptoms should be tested.
- People exposed to a positive person should also be tested.
- High-risk groups living in the Containment Zone-like cancer and kidney patients should also be investigated.

In Hospitals: -
- Corona examination of patients coming to the hospital with fever symptoms should be done.
- Health care workers who are prone to infections should also be investigated.
High-risk groups such as cancer patients or patients suffering from any other serious disease should also be corona examined.

Other Guidelines for the Test: -
- If the sample comes negative then be confirmed again through RT-PCR test.
- If the test comes positive then it should be considered positive, again the test is not required.
- The test should be done after the fifth day of symptoms to get the right result of the sample.
