Kolkata: Surprising reports are coming out of West Bengal regarding the global epidemic coronavirus. The Inter Ministerial Center team (IMCT), which is on a state visit, has said that the death rate in West Bengal is the highest in the country at 12.8 percent in terms of deaths from Corona. IMCT member Apoorva Chandra has briefed Chief Secretary of State Rajiv Sinha in this regard.

At the same time, tensions between the Center and Mamta government have deepened after the IMCT report. Trinamool Congress MP Derek O'Brien has targeted the central government. IMCT member Apoorva Chandra informed the Chief Secretary of the state Rajiv Sinha that the corona mortality rate in the country is the highest in West Bengal at 12.8 percent. Before returning to Delhi, he has written a letter to Rajiv Sinha in this regard.

Chandra said in the letter that with the increase in mortality, it is clear that the tests have reduced in the state and care has also been taken in the care of the corona infected. Chandra said that there is a huge difference in the cases reported by the state in the medical bulletin and the information given to the central government. The investigation team led by Chandra has returned to the national capital after spending two weeks in Bengal.
