Angry over her daughter's love marriage in Amravati, Maharashtra, the parents dragged her from her in-laws' house and then brought her home. The video of the incident also went viral after which the police left the bride back with her husband. Police said the girl belongs to the Maratha community and she has taken a love marriage with a boy from Mali samaj at Arya samaj temple on April 28.
But when the girl's family members came to know that their daughter Shreya Sable had married Pratik Tarsa, they were shocked. With a total of 12 people, they reached the boy's house. At first, he told the girl to walk home. But when the girl refused, they started dragging her forcibly away.
According to the information received so far, in the meantime, no one was coming to the rescue, and then the boy's family members started beating them up. The girl's husband went to the police station with his complaint, so they have not yet registered his complaint. But the police had to take action when the video of the incident started going viral on social media.
