Preparations for 'The International Indian Film Academy Awards' have been launched at the biggest award ceremony in Bollywood. The discussion was that the event will be held in Nepal, India's neighbouring country in August. However, now that the official information has come out, it has been hosted by India.

"After cities like Johannesburg, Madrid, Dubai, Colombo, New York, the 20th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) will be held in Mumbai in September. We had our dream of bringing IIFA back to India once and this time we thought of organising it in Mumbai, which is the home of Bollywood. Now everyone's hope is that the enthusiasm that people have during its overseas presence is as much there as it is," Timmins added, "We are still getting a great response from the Maharashtra government and the film industry."
