LUCKNOW: IIM-Lucknow will help UP write a new chapter in the Bharat Mission's educational objectives. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, has joined the Uttar Pradesh government as a knowledge partner for the chief minister's NIPUN Bharat Associates (CMNBA) programme, which aims to engage young, talented professionals who will act as catalysts in the implementation of the NIPUN Bharat Mission.

The state education department has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with IIM. According to the agreement, the top management institute would support the initiative's promotion, capacity building, and design training.

The Chief Minister's NIPUN Bharat Associates (CMNBAs) initiative will benefit from the department and IIM Lucknow's strategic engagement. Its main goal is to include bright young professionals in activities under NIPUN Bharat Mission, which concentrates on attaining FLN (foundational reading and numeracy) goals established for each grade.

Director general school education Vijay Kiran Anand said, "The collaboration will ensure that the CMNBAs are well-trained and well-equipped to identify the gaps in implementation of NIPUN Bharat Mission on the ground and will work under DMs and CDOs for implementation of NEP interventions in the state." In accordance with the agreement, IIML will offer Samagra Shiksha technical assistance, resources, and direction in the areas of outreach for applications, induction, training, capacity building, academic module design, and sensitization/orientation of the district administration representatives on the CMNBA programme, as well as infrastructure for training scheduling.

IIM Lucknow is pleased to be a participant in this programme, which has the potential to have a significant impact on education, according to IIML director Prof. Archana Shukla. 111 exceptional young people who are highly competent, driven, and qualified will receive training to work with district administration as part of the CMNBA programme. Every associate will work to ensure that goals, targets, and action plans are clear in order to speed implementation and help the state meet the NIPUN Bharat Mission goal of having all students enrolled in classes 1-3 demonstrate grade-level proficiency.

The associates will also develop district- or block-level initiatives to address local issues and guarantee that teachers receive high-quality preparation that is appropriately contextualised for the district. They will also help perform community participation activities and third-party assessments of FLN in the districts in order to advance NIPUN Bharat.
