How IIT Kanpur Exam Question on Arvind Kejriwal Goes Viral: A question from an IIT Kanpur exam has caught everyone's attention online. The exam, held after the Delhi Assembly elections, included a question about Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' radio program.

The question humorously suggested that Kejriwal wanted to listen to 'Mann Ki Baat' on FM radio but could not  afford to tune in because he had spent most of his money on election campaign advertisements. It was part of an Electrical Engineering exam (ESC201 course) conducted on February 11.

Students were asked to design a filter that would allow Kejriwal to hear the program on Vividh Bharti FM while blocking other radio signals. The problem required using electrical components like resistors, inductors, and capacitors.

The question further mentioned that since Kejriwal had limited funds, he could only afford a 50-ohm resistor, a variable inductor, and a variable capacitor. Students had to calculate the quality factor of the filter in two parts, each worth two marks.

As the question spread viral online, many people reacted to its humorous tone. IIT Kanpur later issued a clarification regarding the controversy.

People on social media had different opinions about the question. Some were upset with the person who wrote it and worried about the reputation of the country’s top institute.

One person wrote, "What kind of nonsense is this? Don’t they have moderators to check the questions set by professors? This is so embarrassing!"

But not everyone agreed. Someone else replied, "Why is it embarrassing? It’s actually a smart question!"

Another user joked, "The question itself deserves ten marks! Any student who can answer it without laughing should get ten extra marks!"

Someone else added, "The professor should get an award for this! It’s a great way to connect studies with current events."
