Lucknow: An illegal madrasa built on pasture land in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi district has been demolished. It is being told that this madrasa was not even determined by the government. This madrasa was being run by a man named Hasan. However, on September 2, 2022, the Tehsildar Court issued a legal notice and ordered the removal of the illegal construction operator from itself. After this, the administration demolished the illegal madrasa with a bulldozer. This action has taken place on Monday (September 12, 2022).

According to media reports, this madrasa was built on grazing land for about 25 years. It was constructed in 1997 at Gujartola near the Tanda-Banda highway in Amethi. In government documents, this place was recorded as a government pasture. When the locals complained of this illegal occupation, the local Lekhpal submitted its report to the tehsil on June 27, 2022, confirming that the madrasa was built on grazing land.

On June 29, 2022, the case was registered in the court of tehsildar of the district. The court, while hearing the case, found the madrasa illegally built on September 1 and directed Hasan, who runs it till September 2, to remove it on his own. But Hasan did not remove the illegal madrasa within the stipulated time frame due to political clout, then on Monday, the SDM reached the spot with a heavy police force and after a 35-minute bulldozer, the madrasa was demolished. A fine of Rs 2 lakh 24 thousand has also been imposed on madrasa operator Hasan. The video of this action is also becoming fiercely viral on social media.
