IMD issues alert, thunderstorms and hailstorm at isolated places

New Delhi: The weather has changed the mood again in many states of the country. There have been rains in many states including Delhi, UP, Haryana. The weather has changed due to western disturbances. This year the cold is wreaking havoc in February as well. The northern and central regions of India are still falling, so snowfall continues in the Himalayan regions. There may be rain in some areas of the country.

The Meteorological Department has said that Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and Ladakh may receive rain and snowfall in the next 24 hours. Whereas Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh are expected to receive thundershowers. Thunderstorms and light hailstones are likely to occur in many districts of Madhya Pradesh on Friday. According to the Meteorological Department, a yellow alert has been issued in Gwalior, Damoh, Sagar, Datia, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Bhind, Morena, and Sheopur districts. Due to the influence of winds over and around northern Rajasthan, there will be moisture in North Madhya Pradesh.

Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, received heavy snowfall on Thursday. The Meteorological Department has forecast snowfall in the medium and high mountain areas. With this, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorm in the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding bad weather. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather may remain bad for some days.
