Know importance and history of Teacher's Day in India

The land of India is such a land where God himself incarnated and lived his life in the soil of this country. Shri Ram and Shri Krishna are the biggest examples of this. Even after being a deity, Shri Krishna and Shri Rama had to learn from their gurus and both Lord Sri Krishna and Lord Rama were seen bowing before their Guru. This is the reason that in Indian society, Guru has a higher status than God.

One of the 365 days of the year is celebrated as a special day, and on the same day, India celebrates September 5 as Teacher's Day. It is said that both holocaust and construction flourish in the lap of a teacher, a teacher is more important than education. The teacher is the person who rejuvenates our life. When a child arrives in this world, he spends the first few years in the midst of parents, and family. When he comes to speak and walk, he is taken to school and a new chapter of teacher-student starts. They are the teachers who decide both our direction and condition.

How did Teachers' Day begin?

The birthday of the great philosopher and second president of the country, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, is celebrated as Teachers' Day. Once some of Radhakrishna's friends and students talked about celebrating his birthday, then Dr. Sarvapalle said that it would be better to celebrate my birthday as Teacher's Day. In this way, India started celebrating Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birthday, that is, September 5 as Teacher's Day.
