Lucknow: In a case related to Hathras, an important hearing is going to be held in court on Tuesday. A hearing will be held in the court to interrogate the four accused belonging to the Popular Front of India (PFI). The ED wants to interrogate four suspects imprisoned in Mathura jail. Sources say that the court may allow the ED to interrogate these suspects.

UP Police arrested four PFI suspects from Mathura who were going from Delhi to Hathras. The police had alleged that the four had come to plot a conspiracy to riot the whole state under the pretext of Hathras. Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar himself gave information about this. In the interrogation, he was related to the Popular Front of India (PFI) and its associate organization Campus Front of India (CFI).

The arrested youth include Atiq Urrahman, resident of Nagla, Muzaffarnagar, Siddiqui of Mallapuram, Masood Ahmed of Jarwal in Bahraich district, Alam of Kotwali area of Rampur district. The police recovered objectionable literature from them. In which the police have registered a case against them for several serious charges ranging from threatening the unity integrity of the country (treason) to promoting enmity between various communities.
